29KSV SINGER LEATHER PATCHER SEWING MACHINE
The Singer Sewing Machine above is known as the 29K Patcher
A very versitile machine, will sew up to 10mm Leather
depending on the type of leather
and the ability of the person using the machine
Pictured above it comfortably sews 7 layers of upholstery leather
and 5 layers of 2mm veg tan
Making this an ideal machine for leathercraft, shoe or boot repairs, horse blankets, etc
A favourite with Leather Workers and Cobblers
The difference with this machine compared to others is that its foot turns 360º, this allows
you to change the direction of your stitch as your sew
You can also do patterns and circles with ease as you sew because the foot turns easily
The machine has a long arm as you can see in the picture and this allows
you to sew in patches on any item, or add or repair to items with no need to take apart
The revolving sewing head allows for sewing patch circles even inside a boot toe
It is also as happy as sewing light material as it is heavy leather
The machine pictured has been refurbished and all components are working
including the bobbin winder
This machine comes complete on its treadle which is fully functioning
It also has a Crank Handle for sewing (in case you dont like to use the treadle much)
Single Needle Lockstitch
You get the machine above along with spare needles, bobbins and manual
I would much prefer you to pick up this machine yourself because of the size and weight
You should always try a machine and see that it is working correctly, at this point I would
