This axe is purposely designed to be of great use as a main tool

Its as happy being used as a carving tool as it is splitting logs for the fire

This small bushcraft axe has a finished shaft of between

33cm - 36cm (normally 36cm) of prime quality Rosewood

Blade measures approx

Length 15cm (6")

Cutting edge 6.5cm (2 1/2")

It holds a razor sharp cutting edge due to the angles

and

Hardening process it has been put through

Rockwell Hardness approx 58

It comes with its own Axe Head Leather Protector

Bears the A Finlay Logo

The axes have already been shafted but we can
supply Additional Hickory or Ash Shafts 
depending on season and availability

The entire package weighs approx 1lb 6oz

The shaft has a thong hole
